To create and configure a pager contact method, do the following:

1. In the Command Center page, open the Notification tab.
2. Click the People tab.
3. Click on the Edit icon next to the person's name to receive the contact method.
4. Click on the Add Contact Method link above the person's name.
5. Enter a name for the contact method.
6. Select a schedule.
   These are the days and times that this contact method is used.
7. Select a schedule time zone.
   This is the time zone by which notifications is labeled and sent.
8. Select a method type.
   To set up a pager contact method, do the following:
   1. Enter the e-mail address for the pager. For example, email@example.com.
   2. Enter the maximum length for a text message. The value can be from 10 to 1920 characters.
   3. To split long messages over several pages, check the associated box.
   4. Click the Next: Join Contact Groups button.
9. Click the Next: Join Contact Groups button.
10. Select the contact groups to which this method will belong.
    Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple contact groups. Hold down the SHIFT key to select a range.
11. Click the Join Selected Groups button.
12. Click the Done: Add New Method button.
