Issue:
When will I be notified of a problem in my infrastructure?
Resolution:

Based on the configuration of the service check, the administrative user will be notified if one of the following options are selected:

  • Notify on recovery - A notification is sent when a check returns to an OK state from any other state.
  • Notify on WARNING - A notification is sent when a service check exceeds configured thresholds.
  • Notify on CRITICAL - A notification is sent when a service check exceeds configured thresholds.
  • Notify on UNKNOWN - A notification is sent when a service check enters an "Unknown" state.
