Issue:
What is an outlier and how do I filter them in Command Center?
Resolution:

An outlier is an extreme data point that may cause an incorrect interpretation of the data. The Trimming option can be used to remove extreme variability (outliers) in the data. Filtering far outliers or near outliers can be selected individually, but never both at the same time.

Selecting to trim near outliers automatically trims far outliers. Conversely, to remove extreme data points select to trim far outliers only.

Trimming supports truncating data. The data points can be removed by selecting the "Remove Data" in the pull-down menu. Using this option makes it easier to see the overall shape of the chart.
