How do I run the SRPMS from the CD's?
Resolution:
SRPMS CD's do not contain any executable or "runnable" files. They simply contain packages which hold the uncompiled source code for the various programs distributed on the other CD's in your media. The files on the SRPM CD can be installed to your system using the rpm command. See the rpm man page and the rpmbuild man page for more details:

man rpm

man rpmbuild
