Issue:
How do I import my phrase library with SCIM Pinyin?
Resolution:

The SCIM Pinyin input method supports import/import user phrase library through the pinyin helper program. Use this helper program to export a user phrase library into a text file, copy it to another system, and import it. Below are detailed steps:

In the original system, invoke the pinyin helper program by clicking the "CI" property in the SCIM Pinyin tool bar.

  1. Click "Action" then the "Export User Phrase Library" option. Save the user phrase library to a text file.

  2. Copy the text file to the new system.

  3. In the new system, invoke the pinyin helper program, then click "Action", then "Import User Phrase Library" option. Choose the text file copied from the original system.

  4. Quit pinyin helper program.

Now the user phrase library from the original system is imported. Type some of the preferred phrases to test.
