Issue:
Why do my Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 kickstart files created under Satellite 4.2 fail after upgrading to Satellite 5.0?
Resolution:

Kickstart profiles that existed prior to Satellite 5.0 upgrade no longer contain the key --skip line that was implied under Satellite 4.2. This will cause kickstarts to stall waiting for user input. To remedy this, enable the key option under Kickstart Details, Advanced Options and enter --skip in the field to the right.

This is addressed in Bugzilla 246300.

New kickstart profiles created under Satellite 5.0 have this option enabled by default.
