Issue:
What do I do if I get a "500 Error - Internal Server Error" when attempting to schedule the kickstart of a system from my RHN Satellite 3.2 Server?
Resolution:

There is a known issue when attempting to schedule a kickstart of a registered system within the Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite 3.2 Server. The following error message is seen:

500 Error - Internal Server Error

when running the 3.1.5-28 schema version of RHN Satellite.

The recommended method to resolve this is to perform a database schema upgrade using a patch and instructions that can be provided from Red Hat Support. Submit a web ticket at https://redhat.com/apps/support/ or contact 1-888-REDHAT.
