Issue:
The administrator of my RHN account has left my department/organizational unit, and I don't have the username and/or password for the account. How can I get access to the account?
Resolution:

There are two possible solutions.

  1. If possible, contact the former administrator of the RHN account and ask them to log in and visit the following page:

    https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/account/ChangeEmail.do

Have them change the account's email address to another email address. Then use the "Lost Password" form at https://rhn.redhat.com/help/forgot_password.pxt to reset the password to the account and have the new password emailed to the new adress.

  2. If that person cannot be contacted, contact the company/organization's IT department to point the administrator's email address to point to another email address. Then use the "Lost Password" form at https://rhn.webqa.redhat.com/help/forgot_password.pxt to reset the password to the account and have the new password emailed to the new account. Log in, and change the email address associated with the account at: https://rhn.webqa.redhat.com/rhn/account/UserDetails.do
