Issue:
I did not install the X Window System during the install, how can I install it now?
Resolution:
First, mount your CD-ROM and change your directory into your RPMS directory.

# mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
# cd /mnt/cdrom/redhat/RPMS

From that point, you will want to follow the directions at our XFree86-upgrade.

Atlernatively, if your system is registered with Red Hat Network (RHN), you may be able to use up2date in order to download and install the needed RPMs. In theory, you could run up2date for a package that requires the X Windows System. The up2date utility will download and install the requested package and any dependencies for that package for your registered channel. If you choose a package that requires X Windows to be installed, then up2date should download the required dependencies for X Windows to be installed.

For example:
# up2date xscreensaver
should accomplish this.

Feedback on this theory is greatly appreciated.
