Issue:
How can I get my on-board sound card to work in my Dell PowerEdge 400SC?
Resolution:
Release Found: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3

Symptom: The on-board sound card in the Dell PowerEdge 400SC is detected and configured properly by Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3, but the audio doesn't work. The sound card uses the i810_audio module.

Solution: Download the latest audio driver from Dell's support site. Please follow the instructions in the README file that comes with the driver. For additional instructions on how to install this driver, please contact Dell's support team.
