Issue:
How do I get my Red Hat Enterprise Linux system to accept remote SSH connections to authentication via LDAP?
Resolution:
Release Found: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3

Symptom:
The machine is set up to authenticate against a LDAP server which is working correctly for local logins. However, when a user tries to remotely connect to this machine via SSH the LDAP lookup fails.

Solution:
Add the following line to your /etc/ssh/sshd_config file:

PAMAuthenticationViaKbdInt yes

This will allow SSH to authenticate to an LDAP server.
