Issue:
Which version of ksh (K shell or Korn shell) can I find in Red Hat Enterprise Linux?
Resolution:

It depends.

On Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, pdksh is provided. This is the open source version of the old ksh88. It is a clone, so the compatibility is not 100% guaranteed.

In the Extras Channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, the new ksh93 is provided. This is the original Korn shell version that has been released since 1993.

Within Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, the ksh93 shell has been integrated. It is now fully supported.
