What kernel version is shipped with a particular Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update?
Resolution:

The table below lists the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Updates (major ones) and the kernel versions that shipped with them. These are the "major" releases--at various times there may be 'point' releases that increment the kernel. For example, 2.4.21-9.0.3 would be an update to the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3, update 1 kernel. These are not listed.
